Does anybody have the Classic 30 Minute Meals: The All-Occasion Cookbook by Ray Rahcel?
I saw it somewhere, and I saw a recipe that I wanted it. However, I could not find the recipe and I do not want the whole book. I'm looking for the "Famous Filiacis' Chocolate Chip Banana Nut Bread", and if someone can type of ingredients and instructions, That would be awesome!
4 tablespoons (1 / 2 stick) butter, softened 3 / 4 cup sugar 2 large eggs 2 bananas large or 3 small ripe, mashed 2 cups of unbleached all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 / 2 teaspoon salt 1 / 4 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup chopped walnuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 9×5x3-inch loaf. Cream sugar, butter and eggs together until spongy. Times in mashed bananas with a spoon. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda in large bowl. Add the banana mixture, chocolate and nuts to dry ingredients and stir until smooth. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 55 minutes. Let cool before removing from pan. Enjoy!
